- Maintain Good Posture: Correcting your posture throughout the day can significantly prevent back pain. Aligning your hips, neck, and shoulders can take unnecessary pressure off your lower back when sitting at a desk or on the sofa.
- Heat and Cold Therapy: Heat and cold therapies can be used to soothe and eliminate pain caused by pulled muscles. Applying an ice pack for 15-20 minutes creates a numbing effect, followed by a heat pack to improve muscle movement and blood flow.

This can be done by wrapping a cool pack or frozen water bottle in a towel around your waist while on the sofa or using heat patches when out and about.
